Witty Fox Smart Plug - Digital Relay Smart Plug is a 240V AC plug that can be switched on/off with a 0-5V output signal, from microcontrollers such as the Arduino. The Smart Plug can be used for various applications like IoT giving the ability to turn on/off any regular appliances with a microcontroller by simply giving the appropriate signal based on programmed conditions. Connection Details: The Smart plug comes with four wires An AC cable - to be connected to a regular wall outlet that is always turned on Red jumper wire - to be connected to the 5V VCC pin of the microcontroller Black jumper wire - to be connected to the GND pin of the microcontroller Yellow jumper wire - to be connected to a GPIO pin of the microcontroller to control the switch To turn on the smart plug, the GPIO pin connected to the yellow jumper must be set to logic LOW or GND. To turn off the smart plug, the GPIO must be set to logic HIGH or 5V.
