DHT11 Humidity and Temperature Sensor The DHT-11 Digital Temperature And Humidity Sensor is a basic, ultra low-cost digital temperature and humidity sensor. It uses a capacitive humidity sensor and a thermistor to measure the surrounding air and spits out a digital signal on the data pin (no analog input pins needed). It's fairly simple to use but requires careful timing to grab data. The only real downside of this sensor is you can only get new data from it once every 2 seconds, so in your code please use sensor reading interval at 2 seconds or more. Compared to the DHT22, this sensor is less precise, less accurate, and works in a smaller range of temperature/humidity. But despite its disadvantages over DHT22, it is a smaller and less expensive sensor for temperature and humidity measurement. The Differential Pressure Transmitter(DPT) senses differential pressure in pressure independent Variable Air Volume (VAV) applications. It sends an analog signal that is proportional to velocity pressure to a VAV controller. The DPT is available mounted to an M9104 or M9106 Electric Non-spring Return Actuator or to the Johnson Controls VAV controller for reliable damper positioning in closed-loop applications. The may also be mounted alone as an independent pressure transmitter or used for damper positioning in other VAV systems. The DPT is connected to the VAV box airflow pickups and measures differential pressure and generates a proportional voltage signal. The voltage signal from the DPT is read by the VAV controller and converted to airflow in cubic feet per minute (cfm). Calibration is not required other than zero calibration, which is performed within the controller.
