This is very useful for checking machines that are moving, things that are hard to reach, or surfaces that you just shouldn't touch. It uses infrared technology to sense the heat given off by an object and is built to be very reliable. Because it's an IP65 Temperature Sensor, it's well protected from dust and water splashes, making it great for factories, workshops, or even some outdoor uses. This Infrared Temperature Sensor 4-20mA sends out a standard 4-20mA current signal, which is what many industrial machines and PLCs use. This makes it easy to connect to existing systems. For students and hobbyists, you can use a simple converter module to read the signal with boards like Arduino. DHT11 Humidity and Temperature Sensor The DHT-11 Digital Temperature And Humidity Sensor is a basic, ultra low-cost digital temperature and humidity sensor. It uses a capacitive humidity sensor and a thermistor to measure the surrounding air and spits out a digital signal on the data pin (no analog input pins needed). It's fairly simple to use but requires careful timing to grab data. The only real downside of this sensor is you can only get new data from it once every 2 seconds, so in your code please use sensor reading interval at 2 seconds or more. Compared to the DHT22, this sensor is less precise, less accurate, and works in a smaller range of temperature/humidity. But despite its disadvantages over DHT22, it is a smaller and less expensive sensor for temperature and humidity measurement.
