Dual 4-bit Binary Ripple Counter IC - 74HC393 The 74HC Series 74HC393 is a 14 Pin Dual 4-bit Binary Ripple Counter IC having 2V to 6V Operating Voltage range and 50 Mhz Clock Frequency. Each counter features a clock input (nCP), an overriding asynchronous master reset input (nMR), and 4 buffered parallel outputs (nQ0 to nQ3). The counter advances on the HIGH-to-LOW transition of nCP. A HIGH on nMR clears the counter stages and forces the outputs LOW, independent of the state of nCP. Inputs include clamp diodes. Dual 4-bit Decade Ripple Counter IC - 74HC390 The 74HC Series 74HC390 IC is a 16 Pin Dual 4-bit Decade Ripple Counter IC having a 2V to 6V Operating Voltage range. It has been divided into four separately clocked sections. The counters have two divide-by-2 sections and two divide-by-5 sections. These sections share an asynchronous master reset input (nMR) and can be used in a BCD decade or bi-quinary configuration. If master reset inputs 1MR and 2MR are used to clear all 8 bits of the counter simultaneously, numerous counting configurations are possible within one package. Section clocks nCP0 and nCP1, allow ripple counter or frequency division applications of divide-by-2, 4, 5, 10, 20, 25, 50 or 100. The HIGH-to-LOW transition of the clock inputs nCP0 and nCP1 triggers each section. For BCD decade operation, the nQ0 output is connected to the nCP1 input of the divide-by-5 section. For bi-quinary decade operation, the nQ3 output is connected to the nCP0 input and nQ0 becomes the decade output. A HIGH on the nMR input overrides the clocks and sets the four outputs LOW. Inputs include clamp diodes. It enables the use of current-limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages in excess of VCC. Dual J-K Positive Edge-Triggered Flip-Flop IC - 74HC109 The 74HC Series 74HC109 IC devices contain two independent J-K positive-edge-triggered flip-flops. A low level at the preset or clear inputs sets or resets the outputs regardless of the levels of the other inputs. When preset and clear are inactive (high), data at the J and K inputs meeting the setup time requirements are transferred to the outputs on the positive-going edge of the clock pulse. Clock triggering occurs at a voltage level and is not directly related to the rise time of the clock pulse. Following the hold-time interval, data at the J and K inputs may be changed without affecting the levels at the outputs. These versatile flip-flops can perform as toggle flip-flops by grounding K and tying J high. Dual JK Flip Flop IC - CD4027 CD4027 is a single monolithic chip integrated circuit containing two identical complementary-symmetry J-K master-slave flip-flops. Each flip-flop has provisions for individual J, K, Set, Reset, and Clock input signals. Buffered Q and Q\ signals are provided as outputs. This input-output arrangement provides for compatible operation with the RCA-CD4013B dual D-type flip-flop. The CD4x Series CD4027 is useful in performing control, register, and toggle functions. Logic levels present at the J and K inputs along with internal self-steering control the state of each flip-flop; changes in the flip-flop state are synchronous with the positive-going transition of the clock pulse. Set and reset functions are independent of the clock and are initiated when a high-level signal is present at either the Set or Reset input.
