ATOM Matrix, which has a size of only 24 * 24mm, is the most compact development board in the M5Stack development kit series. It provides more GPIO pins and is very suitable for handy and miniature embedded device development. The main control adopts the ESP32-PICO-D4 chip, which comes integrated with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies and has 4MB of integrated SPI flash memory. The Atom board provides an Infra-Red LED along with the 5 * 5 RGB LED matrix on the panel, a built-in IMU sensor (MPU6886), and an HY2.0 interface. A general-purpose programmable button is provided below the RGB Led matrix to enable users to add input support to their various projects. The onboard USB interface (Type-C) enables rapid program uploading and execution. One M2 screw hole is provided on the back for mounting the board.
Note:
When using FastLED lib, the recommended brightness of the RGB LED is 20. Please do not set it to a high brightness value to avoid damage to the LED and acrylic screen. (In ATOM lib, we have mapped its appropriate brightness range to 0~100)

COM. NB-IoT is a stackable multi-band NB-IoT wireless communication module with a built-in SIM7020G communication module. The module supports PSM and eDRX low power consumption modes.
The COM.NB-IoT module has a wide coverage signal. Compared to GSM, NB-IoT has a strong gain, which also enables the product to have wireless communication capabilities in locations such as basements.
The module has a DC power input and can provide a 5V-12V power supply through an external power supply. In order to facilitate the user to configure the pin, the DIP switch is used to set the pin. The SIM7020G module is the optimal solution for low latency, low power consumption, and low throughput applications. It is very suitable for IoT applications such as metering, remote control, asset tracking, remote monitoring, telemedicine, and ride-sharing.
Note:
The module base has a DC power input interface. Please strictly follow the input range (5-12V) to prevent damage to the module when using this interface to connect to the power supply. The internal power DIP switch can adjust the voltage level of the internal terminal VIN to adapt to different modules.

M5Core2 is the second-generation core device in the
M5Stack development kit
series, which further enhances the functions of the original generation of cores.
The MCU is an ESP32 model D0WDQ6-V3 and has dual-core Xtensa® 32-bit 240Mhz LX6 processors that can be controlled separately. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are supported as standard and it includes an onboard 16MB Flash and 8MB PSRAM, USB TYPE-C interface for charging, downloading of programs and serial communication, a 2.0-inch integrated capacitive touch screen, and a built-in vibration motor.
M5Core2 also features a built-in RTC module that can provide accurate timing. The power supply is managed by an AXP192 power management chip, which can effectively control the power consumption of the base and built-in green LED power indicator helps to notify the user of battery level. The battery capacity has been upgraded to 390mAh, which can power the core for much longer than the previous model.
The M5Core2 retains the TF-card(microSD) slot and speakers. However, in order to ensure higher quality sound output, the I2S digital audio interface power amplifier chip is used to effectively prevent signal distortion. There are independent power and reset buttons on the left side and bottom of the base.
The 3 icons on the front of the screen are capacitive buttons that are programmable. There is a small expansion board on the back of the base with a 6-axis IMU sensor and microphone. Timer Camera X is a camera module based on ESP32, integrated with ESP32 chip and 8M-PSRAM. The camera (ov3660) with 3 million pixels, DFOV 66.5 ° and shoot 2048x1536 resolution photo, built-in 140mAh battery, and LED status indicator, featuring ultra-low power consumption design. There is a reset button under the LED. Through RTC (BM8563), timing sleep and wake-up can be realized. The standby current is only 2?A. After the timing photo-taking function(one photo per hour) is turned on, the battery can work continuously for more than one month. The module supports Wi-Fi image transmission and USB port debugging. The bottom HY2.0-4P port output can be connected to other peripherals. Through M5Burner burning firmware, Timer Camera X can be set directly with Camera-Tool, and Timer Camera X data can be processed in UIFlow.
Note:
The low-power power management solution adopted by the Timer Camera series is different from the CORE and StickC devices. When in use, the PWR button is used as a power-on button(long press 2s). If you need to shut down the device, you need to use the software API or press the Reset button on the PCB. When using the external power supply, the device will remain powered on.
