DPDT Switch A DPDT switch or Double Pole Double Throw switch is an electromechanical switch with two inputs and four outputs, with each input having two corresponding outputs. A simple way to think of this switch is to imagine 2 SPDT switches side by side with the 'handles' attached to each other.
