Fermion MEMS Smoke Gas Detection Sensor (Breakout, 10-1000ppm) Let me introduce you to the Fermion MEMS Smoke Gas Detection Sensor (Breakout, 10-1000ppm). It’s a really smart sensor that uses advanced technology called MEMS, making it small—just 13x13x2.5mm. This sensor is great because it doesn’t use much power (less than 20mA) and doesn’t get hot. It’s perfect for devices that run on batteries and won’t drain them quickly. When it comes to detecting smoke, this sensor is super fast. It heats up fast and reacts quickly when it senses smoke in the air. Whether you need it for a smoke alarm at home or in a large building, it will alert you right away. What’s neat is it’s part of a family of sensors. There are 11 different types, including formaldehyde (HCHO), carbon monoxide (CO), methane (CH4), volatile organic compounds (VOC), ammonia (NH3), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), ethanol (EtOH), smoke, odor, hydrogen (H2), and nitrogen dioxide (NO2). You can mix and match them to build a system that’s just right for what you need. So, whether you want to improve safety at home or keep your workplace safe, the Fermion MEMS Smoke Sensor is a smart choice. It’s reliable and efficient, giving you peace of mind wherever you use it. Features: Measures 13x13x2.5mm for easy integration. Operates on less than 20mA. Uses advanced MEMS technology for precise detection. Provides quick detection and recovery times. Precautions for use Before using the sensor, make sure to take off any protective film. Keep the sensor away from places with strong-smelling products like silicone adhesive, hair gel, or silicone rubber. Don't expose the sensor to strong gases like H2S, SOX, Cl2, HCl, etc. Keep the sensor away from chemicals like strong bases, salts, and certain chemicals with halogens. Protect the sensor from extreme conditions like very hot or humid environments, and places with a lot of pollution. Don't let water or ice touch the sensor. Try not to shake, drop, or hit the sensor. Don't use the sensor where it could affect someone's safety. If it hasn't been used for a while, warm up the sensor for 24 hours before using it again.
